In grades 2–3 (CogAT Levels 8–9), students read short questions themselves. Expect skip-counting series, simple analogies, and figure puzzles with one or two changes. The CogAT has three batteries — Verbal, Quantitative, and Nonverbal — and the samples below include all three. Every question follows the official format: five answer choices, one correct answer.
