In grades 6–8 (CogAT Levels 12–13/14), reasoning gets more abstract: compound figure transformations, academic vocabulary, and multi-step quantitative rules. The CogAT has three batteries — Verbal, Quantitative, and Nonverbal — and the samples below include all three. Every question follows the official format: five answer choices, one correct answer.
